"When agreeing to participation in the Careers Contact Scheme people are simply indicating that they are prepared to be approached for help in a variety of possible ways - they are not committing themselves to actually giving any help! The approach might be for a speaker at a Careers Convention, work experience, practice interviews, informal advice for pupils, or Accies, and so on."
