Once a year Jamie creates a much anticipated exhibition of over 50 outstanding new oils and striking Indian inks with the beautiful landscape of the Scottish capital as his muse, which should not be missed. Using an impressionistic palette these sought after artworks are his emotional response to the light and shade of the city’s landscape at dawn and dusk. For the first time he captures a rare snow-covered capital, leading us on a serene journey through its streets, skylines and open spaces in winter-time - which will inspire and delight his collectors. Primrose’s atmospheric new originals range from glistening early morning light creating shadows, which filter softly through the trees in The Meadows, breathtaking vistas of the city from Inverleith Park and in Stockbridge, to glorious winter skylines towards twilight beyond the city’s magnificent architecture - looking towards The Pentlands, from Arthur’s Seat and Calton Hill.
